DSDT College Student Profile Studio: Terms & Conditions
Last revised on July 13, 2026
1) Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the DSDT College Student Profile Studio and the DSDT Employer Recruiting Center (together, the “Platform”), operated by DSDT College, Inc. (“DSDT College,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
2) What the Platform is
The Platform helps DSDT College students turn their coursework, skills, and experience into a professional resume and a reviewed public profile, and it lets authorized employers discover, contact, and recruit approved student talent under DSDT College supervision. Nothing on the Platform is published to employers or the public until DSDT College staff have reviewed and approved it, and DSDT College never fabricates information about a student.
3) Accounts, roles, and eligibility
The Platform serves several kinds of users, and each has different permissions that are enforced by the system. Students build and manage their own profiles. DSDT College staff and administrators review, approve, publish, and govern student profiles and manage the Platform. Employers and recruiters register organizations that, once verified and approved by DSDT College, may discover and contact approved students. You agree to provide accurate registration information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Administrator accounts must use multi-factor authentication. Persons under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian to submit personal information, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4) Accurate information and honest use
You agree to use the Platform only with accurate, truthful, and verifiable information. The Platform offers artificial intelligence tools that help draft and refine resume language, but any output from those tools is a draft that must be reviewed for accuracy and is subject to staff review before it can be published. You may not use the Platform to misrepresent your identity, your credentials, your experience, or your affiliation with any organization, and you may not claim a credential you do not hold or imply a verification that has not occurred.
5) Student data and privacy
Student profile information is stored behind authenticated access and becomes visible to employers or the public only through the staff approval and publishing workflow. Students control certain visibility settings for their own profiles, and a full resume is shared with an employer only through a request that the student or an administrator approves, or through the reviewed employer workflows described in the Platform. Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6) Employer obligations and acceptable use
Employers and recruiters are granted access to reviewed student data only after DSDT College verifies and approves their organization, and that access is conditioned on responsible use. Employers agree to use student information solely to evaluate and recruit candidates for genuine opportunities, and not for unrelated marketing or any other unrelated purpose. Employers agree not to scrape or bulk-export the student directory, not to send spam or send messages that bypass the Platform’s protections, not to attempt to obtain student contact details outside the Platform’s intended workflows, and not to make recruiting or hiring decisions on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. All users agree not to interfere with the Platform’s operation, not to attempt to access accounts or data they are not authorized to access, not to upload malicious files, and not to use the Platform in violation of any applicable law.
7) Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the information you submit, such as your resume content, and you grant DSDT College the permissions necessary to store, review, render, and, where you and DSDT College have approved it, publish and share that content in order to operate the Platform. The Platform itself, including its software, design, and templates, is owned by DSDT College or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from the Platform except as expressly permitted.
8) Artificial intelligence features
The Platform includes AI-assisted features that generate suggestions from the verified information you provide. These features are aids, not authorities. They do not verify facts, they can produce imperfect output, and they must never be treated as a substitute for the human review that DSDT College staff perform before anything is published. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-assisted content before you rely on it.
9) No guarantee of employment or outcomes
The Platform is a tool for building profiles and connecting students with employers. DSDT College does not guarantee that any student will receive interviews, offers, employment, or any particular outcome, and does not guarantee the conduct of any employer or the suitability of any opportunity. Interactions between students and employers are between those parties.
10) Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSDT College disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We strive to protect your information, but as stated in the Privacy Policy we cannot guarantee security against risks beyond our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSDT College will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
11) Suspension and termination
DSDT College may suspend or terminate any account, and may remove or unpublish any content, if it determines that these terms or the Platform’s policies have been violated, or as necessary to protect students, other users, or the Platform. An employer organization that violates its obligations may be suspended, which removes its access to student data until the matter is resolved. You may stop using the Platform at any time and may contact us to request deletion of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12) Changes to these terms
DSDT College may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page, and your continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute relating to the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan, to the extent permitted by law.
